1901, postal stationey card 20 pa. rose answering part used from Madras 20/july 1901 with SEA POST OFFICE A JU/23 01 cds. and transit mark PORT-SAID 18.VI.01 to Smyrne with arrival cachet BANQUE IMPERIALE OTTOMANE SMYRNE in blue. A very unusual commercial use of an answering part from India with full message on reverse. (isfila -,-).
1947, Atatürk postal stationery card 6 krs. red used uprated with additional 6 krs. to 12 krs. rate from Galata Istanbul 4.9.47 to Basra Iraq 14.9.47 with transit mark on reverse and forwarded to Ahwaz Iran. The ‘reponse’ print is crossed out in black ink to use up remaining stock of the card. Very fine and a scarce usage to Asia. (isfila unpriced). (Isfila AN168c)

1850, SKOPJE TATARPOST: "An Canib Postahane-i Üsküp" document with prefilatelic cancellation, on reverse "Deraliye" Constantinopel, scarce forerunner, file fold, otherwise fine and very clear.
1865 ca., TELGRAFHANE-I SAMSUN (Isfila no.2, RRR) blue cancellation on telegram envelope with imprint on front ‘don't pay the postman’, repaired large flaw, fine and extremely scarce on document, (similar to the item shown in Isfila catalogue), rarity of black sea ports!
1871, Folded envelope cancelled with very clear "TEKFURDAGI 81" cancellation (Isfila no.2, R, Rodosto), franking 1 pia. yellow cancelled at arrival "GALATA 81", usual file fold, fine and fresh cover and scarce Thrace postal history!
1874, Folded envelope from Constantinople on May 1874, bearing postage due 20 pa. brown and 1 pia. brown, each rough perf., tied by 2 DERSAADET 1290 (isf.no.20, RRR*, unrecorded on cover), all arabic early censor mark ‘muayene olunmusdur’ alongside, full content, addressed to Filibe, usual file fold, fine and scarce.
1875 (ca.), “HAYDARPAŞA” all arabic cancellation (A&P unrecorded) on cover bearing 1 Pia. yellow plus same stamp bisect performing 60 para rate to Deraliye, one of two recorded, very scarce.
1875/76, 20 pa. green 1875 issue and 1 pia. yellow 1876 issue in scarce mixed franking tied on folded envelope by DERSAADET 1 all arabic triangle mark, all arabic early censor mark ‘muayene olunmusdur’ (used on post to Provinces in Bulgaria) alongside, full content, addressed to Filibe, usual file fold, fine and scarce.
1875, 20 para green and 1 pia. yellow tied by clear "GOLOS" (Isfila no.1, RR) triplering cancellation to Constantinopel with arrival mark on reverse, light vertical crease and shortened on two sides, otherwise fine and a rarity of classic Greece & Turkey. PROFI archive has three covers with this cancellation recorded.
BAGDAD: "BAGDAD TURQUIE FEV 19 1879" on Duloz surcharge ½ pia. on 20 pa. green in horizontal pair in combination with Ampir 1876 10 pa. black/lilac on small envelope to Tabriz, Persia; a fine cover with quite unusual combination.
1882, Duloz issue 2 pia. yellow single tied by bilingual "ADANA TURQUIE 9/MARS 1882" cds. to reverse of envelope to Egypt with arrival mark alongside, flap missing, fine and a very scarce destination.
1884, "G.O. JOLY VICTORIA & CO AIVALI" ship postmark in blue on 20 Para red on rose tied to folded envelope to Chios, fine, signed Nakri
1885, "LICE MAGDENI POSTA SUBESI" (Isfila no.1, RRR) all arabic negative cancellation on envelope franked with 2 Pia. yellow brown, on reverse transit mark Kerassunde and arrival mark London, some border crease and tiny toned, shown in Isfila vol.6 J-L, fine and only recorded in PROFI Archive
1891, "IZMIR PAZARI POSTA SUBESI 1303" ottoman cancellation (Isfila no.1, RRR) on 20 para postal stationery card, written by 'D. Lutfi Chef de la Poste Ottomane Smyrne' with cachet on reverse, violet manuscript ‘Pare bateau Lloyd’ on top left, adressed to Athens, fine and very scarce! In PROFI archive only two other cards recorded.
1899, 20 para violet vertical strip of four performing 2 Pia. rate for a registered cover tied by "MONT ATHOS" cds. in blue, "RUSSIAN ILYINSKY MONASTRY AT ATHOS" mark in blue alongside, transit mark Odessa and retour from Russia with transit mark of russian post office Konstantinopol, some crease and vertical fold, fine and scarce route.
