1901/02, OVERLAND MAIL & SHIP MAIL: two Turkey postal stationery cards cancelled DIARBEKIR TURQUIE following different routes to Karnal India. First overland from 11.1.01 with turkish transit mark BAGDAD 27.1.01, British P.O. BAGDAD 20.JAN.01 and arrival mark KARNAL 28 FE 01. The second written 11 month later from 21.DEC 1901, transit marks Stamboul 26.12.01, ALEXANDRIE 30.12.01, SEA POST OFFICE 5.JAN.02 and arrival mark KARNAL 12 JA 02. Both written by an Armenian to the same address in Karnal Panjab. A very interesting corrosponding pair and scarce postal history.
1902 (ca.), “INEBOLI” in black, very clear on Bulletin de Recommandation bearing 10 Pa. revenue stamp, very fine and scarce.
1905, "JI KARYESI POSTA SHUBESI" (Coles-Walker unrecorded) all arabic cancellation on Ottoman 1 Pia. postal stationery envelope, to Erguiri with arrival mark, light toned at border, otherwise fine. Scarce Turkey forerunner
1906, 20 para red tied by bilingual "KOMANOVA" cds. (Isfila no.3, R) to picture postcard of Komanova, sent to Uskub, fine Macedonia & Greece postal history!
1909, 20 Para rose postal stationery card used from Stroga to Austria with violet "ISTROGA" cds. (Isfila no.2, RR) transit bilingual "PALANGA" cds. alongside, ms. "inconnue Polizei" at destination and “retour”, scarce Greece & Turkey postal history!
1912, 20 pa. rose postal stationery card of 1909 issue sent from SALONIQUE 3 to Debre as the addressee was not found by post office sent back by notation showing very clear bilingual "DEBREI-BALA" cds. (Isfila no.5, R, Debar), on reverse SALONIQUE 8 arrival mark (Isfila no.57), fine Macedonia & Greece postal history!
1922, Turkey in Asia: ‘IZMIR HÜKÜMET POSTA VE TELGRAF MERKEZI’ twoliner in black (Isfila no.3) on cover reverse only with four 20 pa. carmine-rose, additional ‘IZMIR-KARAHISAR’ red unrecorded type railway cancellation, black arrival mark alongside, fine, scarce and very attractive.
1923, TELGRAF ve POSTAHANE-I BEYSEHRI (Isfila no.1, RR) violet cancellation on parcel card from AYVACIK with transit mark KARASI 2 (Isfila no.4, RR), fine and extremely scarce on document
1848, Turkish Steamship Company Entire letter written in Bursa / Brousse shipped from Mudania to Constantinople struck with oval negative seal handstamp with central P.P. (Posta Pagata) in black. The first handstamp introduced by any Turkish Steamship company. Cover with filing folds and tiny toned, otherwise fine. An exceptional strike of a very scarce marking
1860 ca., "AGENZIA PROSCAFI OTTOMAN DELLA ZECCA / BRUSSA" octagonal and “AGENZIA DEI PROSCAFI OTTOMANI DELLA ZECCA / MUDANIA” postmarks on envelope cut outs, very fine pair. Certificate du Vachat (2010)
1861, Constantinople to Brousse folded envelope with content, bearing superb oval straight line ‘Franco’ in blue with manuscript “PP” in red alongside, usual file fold, otherwise fine & scarce

1871, "ADMINISTRATION SANITAIRE DE L´EMPIRE OTTOMAN" black bilingual cancellation on ship's clearing certificate “SERVICE SANITAIRE” from Constantinople. “Droit d'interrogatoire paye Piastres (ms.20)” twoliner alongside. Signed Le Directeur du Parloir, few file folds, very attractive and scarce Turkey ship document “freed from Quarantine”. Cancellation unrecorded in PROFI archive

1892, Baghdad provisional issue 1 pia. on 2 pia. yellow bisect diagonally tied by clear "POSTAHANE-I BAGDAD" to cover, addressed to ERBIL with boxed arrival mark (Brand-Ceylan no.IX-52) alongside, few tiny spots, otherwise fine, a very attractive and scarce Iraq and Turkey local forerunner
1892, Baghdad provisional issue 1 pia. on 2 pia. yellow-olive on yellow diagonally bisected tied by all arabic negative mark “POSTAHANE-I BAGDAD” to cover, arrival mark “POSTAHANE-I HANEKIN 95” (Coles-Walker no.19) on front, vertical fold, shortened at right and cut on flap, otherwise fine, a very scarce Local issue
1867, Constanta Local railway issue “KUSTENDJE & CZERNAWODA”, five perforated trial prints in yellow, blue, green, orange and pink, unused with slight traces of adhesive from the backing cardboard, some tiny faults, otherwise fine.
1865, 5 pa. black on blue, rough perf. 16, fine unused, from the sheet of one hundred which Perkins, Bacon perforated on its „A“ machine on 22 November 1865, plus normal stamp with right margin, very fine.

1919, 5 pia. brown and black block of four tied to parcel card by ADANA 2 26.9.335, variety “bottom right stamp missing overprint”, on reverse 20 pa. blue block of eight with same cancellation, arrival mark Galata Istanbul, some crease, otherwise fine, a scarce variety.
1920, Turkey local issue with overprint ‘FEKE’, 2 piastres brown/blue in mint never hinged block of four, this issue was almost completely used up, mint units are very rare
1919, Lighthouse 10 pa. green with inverted surcharge 'T.E.O. Cilicie', perf. 12½, unused, fine and a scarce variety. (Scott 71)

1920, TURKEY IN ASIA : 'FEKE Kuvayi milliye 17 Mart Dogan Ruhi' surcharged local issue Cilicia 2 Pia. blue & orange-brown, mint never hinged block of 10 with left margin, flaw at bottom left and on top right, few tiny toned perfs, otherwise a very scarce block and rarity of this local issue.
1896, "TASLIDJA JUIL 11 96", clear bilingual cds. on postcard 1892, 20 pa., written in Plevlje to Pharmacie de Banjaluka in Sarajewo/Bosna with transit mark of Banja Luka military post; the card with corner faults, otherwise fine and very nice.
1909, Greece: "KESRIE 1/5" (A&P no.3, RR, Kastoria) cds. on commercial imprint cover with 1 pia. blue to Germany, tiny border flaw, fine and scarce Greece and Turkey postal history
1905, "LABOVA-I ZIR KARYESI POSTA SHUBESI" (Coles-Walker no.28) all arabic cancellation on Ottoman postal stationery envelope 1 pia. used with additional franking 1 pia. blue, 1905 to Istanbul with adjacent transti mark of Erguiri 3/5/905, light toned at border and flaw at flap, otherwise fine. Scarce Turkey and Albania forerunner.
