1886, 20 para black on rose postal stationery card answering part used uprated with 1 pia. blue, cancelled with clear "CONSTANTINOPLE-GALATA DEPART 2/JUILLET/1886" ds., violet Hotel de Byzance ds. alongside, addressed to ‘Victoria Club Pietermaritzburg Natal L'Afrique du Sud’, red crayon “20cts”, transit mark NEW YORK PAID ALL JUL/18/86 and MISSENT TO NEW YORK JUL/21/86 on front. Postcards were not permitted to be sent to South Africa, hence the red London instruction twoliner "POST CARDS TO THIS ADRESS CANNOT BE FORWARDED" in red was stamped on the front, arrival mark "CONSTANTINOPLE-GALATA ARRIVEE 5/AOUT/1886" on reverse,vertical fold, otherwise fine. A very scarce route and destination!
1891, 20 pa.+20 pa. pale rose with pale flesh background postal stationery answering card complete used with violet POSTES OTTOMANES DEPART SMYRNE 30/MAI/91 cds. alongside arrival mark NEUMÜNSTER 4.6.91 cds. Reponse part precancelled Smyrne. Inside message: ‘Beautiful city and good beer’. Very fine and scarce (isfila cat. value 135€). (Isfila AN22)

1922, Parliament 3 pia. carmine envelope fieldpost cancelled ‘SAHRA POSTASI 34 - 26.5.22’ in blue, violet censor ‘3’ in circle, on reverse transit 'ANGORA 1 - 1.6.22' cds., on fronr arrival mark ‘KASTAMONU 2’. Additional franking felt off and postage due 1 pia. olive-green affixed and ms. ‘Battal’ (obliter.) by pencil. Tiny spots and border crease, otherwise fine and a very scarce usage.

1923/42, Crescent and star issue bisect used 5 pia. on cover from Istanbul to Izmir with small type war of independence' censor “8” in violet and 5 krs. postal stationery card from Havza to Romania Embassy in Ankara (bottom right corner fault and flaw), showing three red crescent stamps each used bisect to perform additional 4 krs., tiny faults but interesting for bisect collectors
1943, Two postal stationery cards 3 krs. and 5 krs. each used uprated to air mail high postal rate 93/94 krs., different censors Egypt and ms. “Transpacific Air Mail” to San Francisco. Each card is uprated with ½ krs. stamps, these are very scarce on card and Asia route mail during WWII is also unusual, a fine and attractive pair.
