1927, Crescent and star issue 500 pia. green, 3rd London printing 200 pia. brown and pair 18¾ pia. greyish-black tied to parcel card by ISTANBUL (PAKET) Mersule Dairesi 14/11/927 cds. performing a high rate of 742,50 pia. addressed to Erghani Madeni with arrival mark on reverse. It was a rule that the stamps had to be cancelled with a cut, but these are without a cut, which is extremely rare. Vertical folds and tiny border crease, otherwise fine and very attractive.

1930, Latin Characters overprinted issue: 2½ krs. on 5 krs. and 6 krs. on 10 krs. stamps performing a very high rate of 60 krs. tied to registered cover by "ISTAMBUL 7 - 9.4.1930" cds., varieties ‘big 2’ at left block, ‘iurustur’, ‘tiny and fat 1’ etc., some tiny crease, otherwise fine and a very unusual rate.
