1863, first print 5 piaster rose left margin with characteristic color missing and extraordinary margins on all sides with dividing lines, clear cancelled blue "FILIBE" in dots (Brandt-Ceylan Type IIA-4, Plovdiv / Bulgaria), little closed at bottom left corner, otherwise very fine. First printings of Tughra issue with city cancellations are great rarities of this issue and less than five from all cities are recorded

1863, Tughra, Second Printing on thin paper, 20pa black on yellow, head-to-head tete-beche block of twelve, with red control band at top and bottom, unused, with part original gum, folded along central row and column, with hinge reinforcement of minor separation, a few other small imperfections, but a remarkable block, of tremendous visual appeal, and a dramatic showpiece, ex “Sultan.”  (Isf 3 TB02)

1863, Tughra, Second Printing on thin paper, 20pa black on yellow, irregular head-to-head tete-beche block of five, red control band at top and foot, unused, with part original gum, large to very large margins on all sides including sheet margin at right, a few typical light creases common for this delicate paper, black arrow indicating frameline break adhered to block, else a fine and scarce multiple, ex “Sultan”. 1863, Tughra, Second Printing on thin paper, 2pi black on grey, foot-to-foot tete-beche block of four, with red control band, margins large to clear, bold cancellation in black, a fine and scarce multiple, ex “Sultan”.  (Ifs 4 TB01)

1863, 2 pia. deep blue tete-beche pair with red border print, unused with original gum, full to wide margins on all sides, fresh bright color. The colour of this issue was applied with a large brush and imperfections were later corrected with a small brush, this stamp shows two such corrections with dabs of colour, an attractive variety, very fine (Isfila 5TB02 var.)

20 Para yellow pair, third print surface coloured thick paper (miscut to left), tied by blue "Battal" (cancelled) in dots to folded envelope written 2.Recep 1281 (1865) and ms. arrival with pencil ‘1865’, from Beyrouth to Damascus, horizontal fold through the stamps, flaw repaired at left stamp, fine and scarce Syria and Lebanon forerunner and one of the latest used Tughra covers!

1864, Tughra, Third Printing on thick paper, 1pi grey-lilac, large margins at left and foot, otherwise touching to slightly into frameline, tied to folded cover from Beirut to Damascus by dotted blue handstamp, fresh and fine. (Isf 20)

1865, 20 pa. yellow in block of six, together with 1 pia. grey, tied by all Arabic double-circle 'Samakov 81' to letter sheet from Samokov to the Zahari of the  Bulgarian Church at Constantinople. Minor faults and strengthened in the cover fold. A rare and most attractive entire.Certificate ISFILA (2016)

1865, Duloz 1 pia. lilac in block of 4, tied by all arabic double circle " SAMAKOV 81" to letter sheet to the Zahari oft the Bulgarian church at Constantinople. One stamp small corner crease and cover fold backed, otherwise a fine and rare entire. Certificate Isfila (2016).

 

1867, Star & Crescent (Duloz), 25 Ghr light salmon, Type II, part original gum, heavily hinged, colour slightly oxidized, a scarce and otherwise fine example of this difficult unissued stamp; with 2015 ISFILA certificate. (Isf 38)

1873, Duloz 10 pa. lilac (dry print) and 3 copies 1875, 20 pa. green and postage due 1869, 2 pia. yellow-brown, tied by all arabic double circle " RUSCUK 81" to envelope (reverse flap and lower right corner missing) to the Danube district. And attractive and rare combination franking of three issues. Opinion Todd AIEP. Ex Passer, Karaivanoff and Heimbüchler.

1873, 10 pa. deep grey-lilac, black print inverted, clear cancelled Sirkeci Iskelesi, few short perfs, otherwise fine and very scarce, signed (Isfila catalogue value 900,-€)  (Isfila 81 SE55)

1870, Napoleon 80 c. carmine pair and 40 c. vermilion on folded envelope performing 2 fr. rate, tied by GC 2240, alongside Marseille 8/10/70 c.d.s. via port Alexandrette Syrie 20/10/70 c.d.s. on reverse, to Alep 21/10/70 c.d.s., pre UPU postal fee for Turkey 6½ piaster, so additional pair postage 10 pa. brown, postage due 1 pia. brown and 5 pia. olive brown was affixed and cancelled by all arabic ottoman HALEB 81 box type cancellation, tiny border crease, spots and ms. otherwise fine. 1875, Duloz 10 para mauve multiple franking of 24 in units of three or block of six stamps on cover from ANTAKYA to Istanbul with arrival mark 5/77. Stunning multiple franking of exhibition character with minor wear. Three stamps folded over edge

1875, 20 pa. green and 1 pia. yellow, tied by "TATARPAZARI" all arabic double circle to reverse of envelope to Deraliye, here franked with 'Sehir' 1 pia. yellow, tied by light bilingual „BAGHSCHE CAPUSSI“. The envelope somewhat roughly opened with small parts at bottom missing, still fine and attractive.  Certificate ISFILA (2015)

Duloz 1 pia. yellow and pair 10 pa. lilac, used with dull blue all arabic double circle "Cirpan" on entire letter to Constantinople, few minor imperfections, still very fine and rare. Signed Nakri, opinion Todd AIEP  (Isfila RR)

 

1876, Duloz, unissued 5 pia. dull blue and 25 pia. dull rose with very scarce perf. 14, unused and fresh colour, fine and extremely rare pair (Isfila 96, 97var.)

1876, Postal stationery formular card bearing 20 pa. violet green tied by ‘Constantinople Turquie 26/OCT/1876’ c.d.s. in blue, transit mark London Paid in red and arrival mark New York Paid All NOV/11 in red, full message on reverse, tiny toned, otherwise fine. 1901, Tugra presentation book, bound in red velvet, containing photographic essays for domestic and foreign mail issue in unissued designs and two large photographic proofs without denomination. Binding damaged and presentation cartons with marginal adhesions Most likely unique.

1914, Istanbul Pictorial, London Printing, 2 pa. – 200 ghr. in blocks of 4, unmounted mint, quite fresh and of good colour, a rarity in this condition (Isf 461-477)

2 pa. – 200 ghr. in blocks of 4, unused with o.g.. few perfs split and strengthened by hinges, but generally very fine. A scarce set in this condition. 200 ghr. with certificate ISFILA (2012)
