1860, Thick figures 60 c. dull grey lilac, three single examples with mostly large margins, tied by Montevideo cds. to entire letter to Buenos Ayres, endorsed ‘Par Mississippi’. 1861, Thick figures 120 c. blue, fresh color and wide margins all around, tied by oval cancel “MONTEVIDEO 24 ABRIL 1861” to folded lettersheet endorsed “pr. Constitucion” to Buenos Aires, lettersheet small reinforced tear at top, otherwise fine, signed Bolaffi and certificate Rocha (2016)
1856/1998 (ca.), mint never hinged/unused and used collection with a few covers, including postage dues, officials and parcel stamps, plenty of duplicates some with shades and types, better items throughout starting with the Diligencia set, followed by a choice selection of the Sun imperforate issues, later on partly collected both mint and used, some better sets like Mi.-Nr. 366-378 unused, a few forgeries noted. Rather mixed condition in the early issues as to be expected, overall in very good condition, a most useful and colourful lot with some scarcer stamps, neatly housed in 3 stockbooks
