"8" and red oneliner "SHIP", alongside red "BOSTON MS" c.d.s., Rev. William Goddell was working as a Missionary in Turkey from 1831, tiny toned, full message inside, interesting for historians

Crash of the Gipsy Moth Lady Elijah 15-8-1931. Envelop with the signature of the pilot Francis Chichester carried on his flight from Manilla to England, very fine. During a short demonstration flight at Katsura, Japan the plane hit some telephone cables and was totally wrecked. Chichester was badly wounded but recovered., Nierinck cat. 260
