1863, first print 5 piaster rose left margin with characteristic color missing and extraordinary margins on all sides with dividing lines, clear cancelled blue "FILIBE" in dots (Brandt-Ceylan Type IIA-4, Plovdiv / Bulgaria), little closed at bottom left corner, otherwise very fine. First printings of Tughra issue with city cancellations are great rarities of this issue and less than five from all cities are recorded
1863, Turkey Tughra issue 2 pia. blue on folded envelope tied by "BOSNA" in dots (Coles-Walker No.3), to Brod with very scarce blue negative postmaster mark ‘BROD with leaf ornament’ (Coles-Walker No.10), usual file fold and tiny spot, very scarce and a fine first-issue franking from Bosnia
"Balcik", all arabic double circle on entire letter to Constantinople, franked with 1868, Duloz 20 pa. green and pair 1 pia. yellow, cancelled upon arrival with 'Deraliye' handstamp. Very fine.

"VASSILICOS 16/4/907" in violet, clear on 1905, 10 pa. in pair on envelope to Constantinople. Also same cds. in black on 1908, 5 pa. in block of 4. Very rare. (Isfila RR)
1870, ACHETOURA (Chetora): Duloz 20 para brown bisect diagonally on envelope front tied by "ASTURA" (Coles-Walker 82, A&P Type 04, no.6, RRR*) all arabic type cancellation. In A&P catalogue on cover unrecorded. Unique item addressed to Beyrouth, an important rarity of Turkey and Lebanon
1875, AL-BAZOURIYAH: 1 pia. yellow on folded envelope tied by "SHAM 81" (Coles-Walker No.31), transit mark all arabic BEZOURYE 288 (Coles-W. unrecorded, A&P No.1, RRR), addressed to Beyrouth, file fold, otherwise fine, very scarce Turkey and Lebanon forerunner
1892, BESKENTA: 1 pia. blue on envelope tied by blue "BESKENTA POSTA SUBESI" all arabic type cancellation (Coles-Walker No.79, A&P Type 06, no.6, RRR). According to A&P two on cover recorded, some crease, an important Turkey and Lebanon forerunner
1894, BRUMANA: 1 pia. blue three stamps on registered envelope, two tied by "BRUMANA POSTA SUBESI" (Coles-Walker No.75, AP Type 04, no.1,RRR) all arabic type cancellation, one stamp tied by BEYROUTH c.d.s., transit “LIGNE N PAQ. FR. No.3 2/2/94” on front and arrival mark BERLIN 21.294, tiny spot and some flaw on front and border, according to A&P less than five recorded, very clear cancellations, This cover is shown in Coles Walker catalogue
1905, SOFER POSTA SUBESI 22 - SUCCURSALE POSTE LIBAN 22 (Coles-Walker no.119, RR) on postcard with 20 pa. deep rose to Albi France with arrival mark, clear cancellation, fine and attractive.
1906, DERA 20/6/06 bilingual c.d.s. on postcard to France bearing 1905 issue 20 para on front, clear cancelled, on reverse Malain 1/7/06 arrival mark. Fine and scarce (Coles & Walker no.50)
1890, "TELGRAF VE POSTAHANE-I ALI EL GHARBI 300" (1886), (Bayindir no.1 RRR, isfila unrecorded) red arrival mark on reverse of cover bearing Baghdad local bisect stamp 1 pia. on 2 pia. on front, tied by "POSTAHANE-I BAGDAD" all arabic cancellation. Cover with some edge tears, still fine strikes of these unusual cancels and an important rarity of Turkey and Iraq postal history
1915, “GAZA 3.1.15” c.d.s. on cover bearing 1 pia. 10 pa. rate with Damas transit mark to Germany, ms. "seen and objected by censor" with signature and large oval all Arabic "GAZA ASKERI HASTAHANESI SER TABIBI" ('Military Hospital Gaza chief doctor'; if the sender was an officer in the hospital, the chief medical officer had to censor) and signature mark, transit mark Damas and red censor label Istanbul. A Palestine and Turkey WWI rarity
"HAYFA POSTA SUBESI 1287" violet all arabic postmark (Coles-W.No.52; 20 Pt.) on postcard Haifa bearing Turkey 20 pa. dull violet with transit mark "ALEXANDRIE 1/8/97" to Germany with arrival mark "WEISSER HIRSCH 25/8/97", fine and very scarce
"JAFFA-JEROUSALEM" railway ds. on postcard bearing 5 Para ochre, flaw on top right, to Constantinople, very scarce 5 Para imprimes maritime rate, two tiny corner crease, otherwise fine and very attractive

1916, Death certificate officially registered from Naplous sent with stamples wrapper to a military address "Firka 19 Alay 35" (Regiment 35, unit 19) tied by cds. "NAPLOUS" and fieldpost cancellation "SAHRA POSTASI 35" alongside, all Arabic "NAPLUS VATAN HASTAHANESI SER TABIBI" (Nablous Homeland Hospital chief doctor) under wrapper and signature, a Palestine WWI rarity
BULGARIA: 1863/1914 (ca.), written up collection with almost 60 covers/letters and cards and about 100 pieces and single stamps. Strengh in Duloz with partly very rare cancellations and nice frankings, 6 entires with mixed frankings with Constantinople local stamps, 2 postal stationery envelopes, etc., etc. Many items with certificates/opinions. A remarkable collection.
BULGARIA: 1845/76 (ca.), almost 120 covers, letters and postal forms with a variety of postal and official seal cancels, including many scarce and rare strikes, like "An Canib-i Postahane-i Samakov 1274", "AN CANIB-I POSTA-I TIRNOVA", "An Canib-i Posta Ruscuk 265“, "Postahane-I Sofya 1278", "AN CANIB-I POSTAHANE-I ZAGRA-I ATIK 272", "POSTAHANE-I SUMNU 1278", "POSTAHANE-I KIZANLIK 1278“, etc, etc. One of the most extensive collections of this kind. Almost all items with certificate/opinion.

1851, FILIBE with crescent (Postahane-i Filibe 1278) (Coles-Walker no.17,Plovdiv, RRR) very clear cancellation on prefilatelic folded envelope to Constantinopoli, at upper left notation of weight 3 dirhem / postal charge 6 piastre in manuscript for registration fee. Blue all arabic ‘registered’ alongside, usual file fold, otherwise fine. PROFI has not recorded any further registered mail from Plovdiv with this cancellation
1851, FILIBE (An Canib Posta-i Filibe 256) (Coles-Walker no.16, Plovdiv, RRR) on prefilatelic folded envelope ottoman post with a very clear cancellation to Constantinopoli, usual file fold, otherwise fine
1904, HOS EL ZERANE (Isfila no.1, R, Haouch ez Zaraané) all arabic cancellation on both sides of postcard showing Baalbek with full message to France with arrival mark, border toned, tiny spots and crease, oherwise fine. Very scarce Turkey postal history!
1871, "SHAM 81" handstamp in black (Coles & Walker no. 31, Damascus) framed all arabic cancellation on folded envelope with content, bearing Duloz 2 pi. orange-red, diagonally bisected, cut to shape, addressed to Beirut, usual file fold and tiny toned, otherwise fine. A scarce Syria forerunner

1912, "HOMS 1" (Coles-Walker no. 73) clear bilingual octagonal d.s. on Protestant College cover from Homs to Ohio/USA bearing Turkey 1909 issue pair 20 para, on reverse Ohio arrival c.d.s., small spot, otherwise fine and scarce Syria postal history
1894, "HODEIDA" clear blue all arabic on cover back only. Coat of Arms 2 piaster 1892 issue used bisect diagonally and blue "HUDEIDA 7 MART 310" c.d.s. alongside, black arrival mark Istanbul five weeks later "MAKRIKEUY 13 NISAN 310" cds., european date "93" adjustment wrong as often, arabic date 1894 is correct, very scarce and attractive Turkey forerunner!
1905, "SANAA" bilingual c.d.s. (Coles-Walker no.80) and boxed registration mark alongside on registered envelope bearing 1905 issue 3 x 1 pia. blue sent to Constantinople, on reverse Istanbul arrival postmark, repaired and some crease, otherwise fine, registered mail from Yemen is very rare!
1911, "HODEIDA 5" c.d.s. clear blue (Isfila no.13, scarce colour) on commercial cover with imprint bearing 1 Pia. blue block of four, transit mark PORT TAUFIQ and arrival mark BEYROUTH alongside, shortened at left, extremely rare and attractive 4 Piaster rate for a heavy letter from Yemen to Lebanon!
