1915, Malta First World War Prisoner of War Mail: Maximum Card style olive-brown impressed ´kamp post/malta´ stamp on reverse of card to Stettin Germany. Shows on front the fine violett strike "Free from Prisoner of war MALTA PC", fine and unusual.
1830, Folded letter from Rev. William Goddell to USA, written in Malta Dec.6/1830 to USA. Ms. "12" & "by the Leander Capt. Silver", black oneliner "SHIP", alongside "BOSTON MS" c.d.s., Rev. William Goddell was working as a Missionary in Constantinople from 1831, toned and file fold, full message inside, interesting for historians

1874, Great Britain 4 d. vermilion (Pl. 13) and 6 P. buff (Pl. 12, two toned perfs) tied to folded envelope with full content, by duplex postmark ‘B MALTA MR/31/74’-‘A25’ (SG Z5), via Italy to NEW YORK, red ‘LONDON PAID 7/APR/73’ and '2/Cents' credit mark in red (British share of the 4 P. transatlantic postage). Two vertical file folds, otherwise fine and a rare transatlantic letter from Malta!

"PAQ. ANG. MARSEILLE JAN/57", arrived with several tax mark, some border crease, otherwise a fine cover.
