1842, Folded envelope cancelled one-liner LISBOA in black dated 11.7.42, red boxed “Packed Letter” alongside, on reverse London transit mark 18.7.1842 in red, with violet “ANGL. CALAIS 20.7.42” to Paris, usual file fold, fine

1891, King Luis 50 r. rose postal stationery envelope send with steam ship owner oval ds. ‘MOSES D.BENCHIMOL LISBOA 12/AGO/91’ in rose to Gibraltar where the stationery was cancelled by GIBRALTAR A AU/15/91 cds. (special Iberian Postal Union rate). The Benchimol Family started few years later in Chechouan Maroc the local post for two years, tiny flaw on top, otherwise fine, attractive and a scarce usage.

1885, 2 r. black with red overprint SPECIMEN, without gum, tiny thin spot on top, otherwise fine and rare

1878/88, Five postal stationery answering cards and eight postcards, large and small overprints, all unused and fine.

1898, Portuguese Africa 10 r. rose illustrated card, Igreja dos Jeronymos, up-rated with 1898 10 r. violet mailed from S. Vicente via London to St. Helena with arrival mark, message on reverse ‘God is Love’, tiny spots, otherwise fine. A scarce destination.
