1867/84, Franz Josef 2 Kreuzer gelb als wertstufengleicher Zufrankatur auf Ganzsachenkarte 2 Kreuzer gelb mit rückseitigem Geschäftszudruck, gebraucht am Ersttag der UPU von "WIEN LEOPOLDSTADT 1/7 75" nach Basel, mit vorderseitigem Eingangsstempel. Die Karte war zunächst ohne Zufrankatur aufgegeben worden, oben links "noch 2x" notiert, vom Absender nachfrankiert und später am selben Tag erneut aufgegeben und unbeanstandet befördert, obwohl nach dem ab dem 1.7. geltenden UPU-Tarif um 1 Kreuzer unterfrankiert. Ein interessanter und in dieser Form sicher einmaliger 'Ersttags'-Beleg des Postvereins.

1867/84, Franz Josef 3 Kreuzer grün als (in diesem Fall unnötiges) Übersee-Ergänzungsporto auf Argentinien Antwortkarte 6 Centavos (die den Übersee-Zuschlag bereits enthielt) von "SALZBURG STADT 31 5 83" nach Buenos Aires mit vorderseitigem Eingangsstempel. Ein interessantes und seltenes Stück.

Nach Argentinien und in die niederländischen Kolonien betrug die Gebühr für Postkarten mit bezahlter Antwort von 1880-1886 3 Kreuzer mehr als nach anderen UPU-Mitgliedern; nach dieser Verordnung wurde hier frankiert.

Der Postkongress fand vom 20. Mai bis 4. Juli 1891 statt; es sind kaum ein Dutzend gebrauchter Delegiertenumschläge bekannt.

1908/10, Kreidepapier 20 Piaster im Viererblock (die beiden linken Werte mit Druckfalte) zusammen mit weiteren 25 meist hohen Werten (2 weitere abgefallen), vorder- und rückseitig auf Seite eines postinternen Verrechnungsbuches für die Gebühren für Postfächer im Postamt Beirut, alle sauber entwertet mit Tagesstempeln zwischen dem 16. und 31.12.1908. Ein Wert fehlerhaft aufgeklebt und einige mit kleinen Zahnfehlern. Ein interessantes und einmaliges Stück.

"RIBE 3.-7.99" to official letter of enquiry for a registered letter to South Africa, also a privately initiated enquiry, correctly franked with 20 öre for the enquiry fee, obviously excepted from the Postal Administration since it shows the similar recordation handstamps as the official form. A very rare and most interesting ensemble.
