1922/27, George V 2 d. grey, an imperforate 'Ireland Trial' Proof vertical pair, sheet marginal at bottom with Plate Number “10”, stamps defaced in pencil, printed on the Ireland Multiple SE monogrammed watermarked paper as a Trial (circa 1922) to test the paper's suitability for typographical printing, fresh and very fine, mint never hinged. 

1922/27, George V 2 d. grey, an imperforate 'Ireland Trial' Proof block of six, sheet marginal at right, block defaced in pencil, printed on the Ireland Multiple SE monogrammed watermarked paper as a Trial (circa 1922) to test the paper's suitability for typographical printing, fresh and very fine, mint never hinged. The few multiples that survive from this Trial are usually much more defaced than this block.

1871/75, King Cakobau Issue collection specialized balance on homemade pages, a study of over 100 forgeries, most by Spiro, which even includes a complete pane of 25 of the "Six Cents" on 3 d. value, 1875 six genuine stamps with forges overprints, unused and used conditions, some slightly mixed condition but much is fine or better.

1886/89, set of 18 postal stationery cards unused, starting Natal and St.Vincent overprinted cards, nine complete answering cards, all unused, tiny hinge remains on reverse, otherwise fine.

1865/73, Great Britain 4 d. vermilion, plate 11, tied by "Gibraltar / A26" duplex (AU 3) to cover to Malta, endorsed ‘per Packet’,. on reverse Malta arrival c.d.s. (AU 7). Slight aging on few perfs. otherwise fine and an attractive cover
