T. – Descriptive Price Catalogue of all Known Postage Stamps of the United States and Foreign Countries (New York ca. 1878), 42 + 2 pages, softcover, good condition. – In addition to this catalogue, this lot includes over ten price lists dating from 1873 (one of which is even handwritten from around 1874!). These are likely to be among the earliest in existence, as it was not until 1873 that Seebeck (1857–1899), who had emigrated to the USA with his family in 1866, opened his own stationery shop, where he also sold postage stamps.
