1861, 20 c. indigo, block of four, large to very large margins all around, cancelled with multiple strikes of indistinct c.d.s. in black, some uniform soiling, but a scarce used multiple.

1861, 80 c. yellow orange, three large margins, touched at foot, tied to 1862 folded cover to Paris by Torino c.d.s. (12 Sep), red “P.D.” and “Italie / Lanslebourg” (15 Sep) French entry c.d.s. on front, reverse with partial c.d.s. receiver, piece from back flap cut from removal of wax seal, else a fine single franking.

1859, 2 gr. light blue, Plate III, horizontal pair, with 10 gr. dark blue single affixed partially overtop, fair to large margins, all struck with horseshoe cancel, on folded letter to Genova, postmarked Palermo (4 Jul), handstamped “VIA DI / SARZANA”,  reverse with red boxed arrival backstamp, tear to back from removal of seal, horizontal fold, else a fine overland usage, signed Alberto Diena.

1851-2, 1 c. black on grey single and three 1 s. yellow on blue singles, usual mixed margins, tied to folded cover to Massa Marittima by Rombi mute obliterator, oval “S.V.” ("Servizio Veloce") struck in black, reverse with partial c.d.s. arrival backstamp, wrinkles and some staining at left, but a scarce franking. 1857, Lion 6 cr. dark-blue, block of four, fresh color and wide margins, with portions of adjoining stamps at bottom, used, a very rare and attractive entire, an exceptional piece, only very few blocks of four known, certificate E. Diena (1989) (Sassone 15b)

1944, Piccolo Fascio 5 l., 9 copies, including strip of 3, tied by c.d.s. "TORINO CENTRO 3-11 44" to postal receipt for the 'Banca Commerciale'. Upper left stamp with corner replaced, otherwise fine. A scarce usage. Certificate Raybaudi (1994)

1941, Hitler/Mussolini, the 4 unissued values in different design, mint never hinged, very fine and rare, two signed E. Diena and certificate E. Diena (1987) and certificate Bolaffi (1997)

1941, CORFU overprint, Definitives complete except 10 l., also Postage Due and Charity stamps (44 values), all cancelled on pieces; few small values with small faults, generally fine/very fine. Some signed A. Diena, certificate Holcombe for the 'set' (1988)

1922, Bear 5 (p)- 25 (p), complete set of proofs with sheet margins, mostly unused without gum, 3 m. and 5 m. with gum, 25 m. light bend, otherwise very fine
