1901/38, mint never hinged/unused and used collection, incl. official stamps, specialized with types, plate flaws and multiples including some complete sheets, together with some duplicates, starting from the first Lakatoi “British New Guinea” type with SG-Nr. 8 both unused and used, 37 (x3), in the later issues noted both Ash and Harrison printings, some with the lower border sheet imprints, also a selection of cancellations together with few forerunners, some occasional faults as to be expected, overall in good condition. A great specialist assembly, neatly housed in 3 albums (ex SG-Nr. 1-159)

1901/89 (ca.), New Guinea Postal History, large collection with hundreds of covers and cards, many interesting usages, rates and frankings with an abundance of better items throughout, noted mail from the German internees in Liverpool with Australian 1 d. stationery card with straightline “GERMAN CONCENTRATION CAMP” to Canberra, fine choice of the 1915 NW Pacific overprints, the later issues well represented with the Native Village and Ragian Bird up to the 1 Pound, many airmail covers including 1934 First Australian New Guinea Flight, postal stationery card 1½ d. with “SAMARAI SP 2 1902 BRITISH NEW GUIENA” to London with arrival, 2s.6d. with “PORT MORESBY 15.AUG.08” as a single franking to registered envelope to England (SG-Nr. 37), etc. The collection follows with a large choice of the modern cancellations from the various post offices on covers, together with a small part of stamps with some multiples, etc… Except for the occasional fault, overall in good condition, neatly housed in 15 albums
