1878, surcharge 5 c. on card 6 c. with "Nach Deutschland" over "Pour l'Allemagne", with additional franking 1880/84, 30 c. lilac, tied by c.d.s. "ECHTERNACH 11 2 89", as registered card to Aachen, with arrival mark. Slightly reduced in size, otherwise very fine.

1879, postcard 5 c. grey with additional franking 1865/75, 20 c. brown, used as 'cash on delivery' card from Luxembourg 1882 to Weiswampach.

1879, UPU postcard 10 c. with c.d.s. "ESCH-SUR-ALZETTE 5/10 79" commercially used to Singapore, with frontside scarce "PENANG AND SINGAPORE PAID NO 9 79". Light transportation marks. Very scarce destination.

1879, postcard 10 c., proof in issue colour in horizontal pair with proof for 1880/81, 5 c. gray (printed somewhat overlapping) and printed on reverse vice versa, fold between cards

1879, double card 10 c.+ 10 c., legitimately used from "ETTELBRUCK 27 10 82" to Würzburg, Bavaria and returned from "WÜRZBURG 29 10" to Ingeldorf. Both parts with long texts and arrival marks. Fine and very scarce.

Die farbfrischen Marken mit etwas Patina, sonst in guter Gesamterhaltung, eingeschriebene Briefe nach Luxemburg sind selten

1852, Wiliam III. 10 c. black and 1 sgr., totally about 350 used copies including some pairs and a strip of 3, some better cancellations. Quite nice quality. (Mi, 1-2)

1852–82, mint and used collection of regular issues and Officials comprising over 200 stamps, with 1852 Grand Duke William group collected for shades, including 10c (11 singles, 2 pairs) and 1sgr (9 singles, 2 pairs, and a strip of three), followed by a diverse range of imperforate, rouletted, and perforated Arms issues, many also showing shade variations, as well as examples bearing OFFICIEL and S.P. overprints including several blocks, the regular issues mostly used while the Officials are largely mint, condition slightly mixed with some typical flaws and close inspection advised for potential dubious OFFICIEL overprints, nonetheless a fresh and desirable holding, fine or better.

1852, 10 c. black, 9 single values and 2 pairs with different cancellations including green targets of Luxembourg and Wiltz, "PP", rural of Esch, all with certificate/opinion

1852/1940 (ca.), interesting holding in 2 stockbooks and on pages, unused and used, containing a lot of good material as 22 copies ex 1-2, MS 1, good part official stamps, etc

1852/2015, in the beginning mostly used, later unused and from ca. 1964 mint never hinged, in the main catalogue numbers apparently complete collection incl. some better and early issues, souvenir sheet Mi.-Nr. Bl. 1II (small corner-thin), etc., good part valid postage, mostly good condition, in two hingeless albums

1946, Caritas souvenir sheet, 14 copies neatly cancelled "LUXEMBOURG 30.1.46", 3 with opinion Böttger BPP (Bl. 5)

1852, 10 entires with Mi. 1, including a pair on cover to Belgium, different cancellations, including rural postmarks of Wiltz and Mersch

1859/82 (ca.), about 200 covers and fronts with almost exclusively coat-of-arms frankings including some better like Mi. 8, 9, 10, mail to abroad, better cancellations, etc. Somewhat mixed condition but generally fine.

1870/82, postal stationery, interesting remaining exhibition collection with about 180 items, including essays and proofs, double cards, used reply cards, cards and envelopes with additional frankings, destinations as Egypt, Brazil and United States; a very interesting object.

1870/75 (ca.), Correpondance Cards, about 170 items in different types and colours, including many used as 'Zeitungssache' and some with stamps. An interesting lot for specialists.

1875/1955 (ca.), 'The evolution of Luxembourg's railway postmarks', nice little exhibition collection with 38 entires including German occupation. Some destination as Argentina, United States, Belgium (with postage due), Belgian Congo, etc.

1880, lot with six preprinted cards “CARTE-CORRESPONDANCE/Correspondenz-Karte”, all franked with 5 c. yellow (Mi.-Nr. 39), from a correspondence 1882 to Mersch with arrival marks, very fine
