1922, French Levant two 3 pia. 30 pa. blue tied by RHODES TURQUIE D´ASIE 27/11/22 c.d.s. to cover, transit mark POSTES FRANCAISES CONSTANTINOPLE 13/12/22 on reverse and departed through the Ottoman P.O. 14/12/22 with machine cancel. Upon its arrival at the destination Ankara the french postage was not accepted by new Angora Government and a mix of Ottoman 3 pia. blue, Republik postage two 10 pa. brown, 3 pia. rose and postage due seven 20 pa. olive-green was applied and cancelled blue ANGORA 2-21/12/22 c.d.s. A very important Levant & Turkey mix and a marvelous cover (Isfila 1079, 1091, 1101, Yvert Lev 32)

1924, Dumlupinar, commemorative c.d.s. ties 3 k. rose Grand National Assembly to unaddressed postal card, a scarce cancellation, unrecorded postally used, fine.

1923, Star & Crescent 500 pia. green, top margin imprint ".. .9", mint never hinged, very fine, in this quality a rarity

1924, Star & Crescent Issue, Second Printing on thick paper, an mint never hinged set of eleven in blocks of four, the 2 k green with one block each of the “Small 2" and “Large 2” varieties, the latter in a block of six, the 15 k brown with upper sheet margin, overall fresh and of good colour, a rare set, fine. (Isf 1137-1147)

1926, Zirat Bankasi Ankara cachet on picture postcard, franked with 5k, 15k-200k London Pictorial Printing issues, each tied by cachet strike in violet, fine.

1927, First Smyrna Exhibition, overprinted in black or silver, mint never hinged set of eleven in blocks of four, fresh and of good colour, fine. (Isf 1177-1187)

1931-32, First Atatürk issue 12½ krs. and 100 krs. deep blue, colour trial proof in tete-beche print with wide margins in the colour of 12½ krs. imperf, unused no gum as issued, very fine, extremely scarce and attractiv (Isfila 1276,1281 proofs)

1934, IZMIR FAIR overprinted complete set of eight in blocks, 50 krs. on 100 krs. strip of eight, all mint never hinged, very fine, largest recorded blocks of this issue and important Republic rarity

1938, Ataturk Mourning Issue, 8 k light blue, unmounted mint block of four, bright colour, a very fine multiple of this scarce shade. (Isf 1391)

1935, 12th International Congress of the League for Women's Rights, 100 k + 100 k Carrie Chapman portrait, eight different imperforate colour proof blocks of four on ungummed paper, each with very large left margins, fresh and very fine

1926, Karadeniz Travelling Exhibition, exposition vignette affixed alongside 10k deep blue, the latter cancelled by commemorative “Republique Turque / Agence Postale / Exposition Flottante” Karadeniz ship cancel, postmarked Danzig (2 Aug), reverse with second vignette and pair of 2 1/2k slate Pictorials, some small edge faults, but a scarce cancellation from this famed “floating exhibition," offered with an additional unused vignette, fine. 

FRANCE: 1870 (18 October), 1863 40 c. Napoleon lauree , tied to folded cover by Paris Star “8” in black, carried by the balloon “Lafayette” to Carcassonne, backstamped upon receipt on 23 October, redirected to Constantinople, reverse with c.d.s. arrival backstamp (4 November), adhesive oxidized, yet a rare destination for ballon monte mail, fine; signed Calves.

1863, Tughra Postage Due issues, unused sets of singles in red-brown, brick red, and brown, mix of original gum and without gum examples, mostly good to large margins, some trivial imperfections as expected of this very thin paper, a difficult set to assemble, fine. (Isf 7-18)

1863/65, 20 pa., reconstructed block reports, normal and inverted, with all 12 character types. Shades ranging from brick red to brown, except one used value all unused

1863, 20 pa. red-brown postage due tete-beche pair unused, with part original gum, hinge remnants, showing control band trial printings in both red and blue, the blue border misplaced ‘head to head’, a very  scarce variety unrecorded in isfila catalogue, full to wide margins on all sides, fresh bright color, very fine and an exceptional and rare pair with tremendous visual appeal

Duloz 1 pia. brown, 2 vertical pairs and single, with 20 pa. brown, tied by all arabic double circle "Filibe 81" to overweight registered cover to Deraliye, franked on reverse with 'Sehir' 1 pia. brown (pulled perf and small tear), tied by bilingual „BAGHTCHE CAPUSSI“, for local delivery.
