“SHAMKINA” (SHAMKINSKAYA, Shemkino volost), framed two-line Zemstvo postmark dated “11 AUG. 18(80)" on registered petition envelope to Simbirsk with 1 k. black/yellow and 20 k. blue/orange tied by cds “BUINSK 13 AUG. 1880”, reverse Imperial post despatch cds “BUINSK 14 (AUG 1880)” and arrival small cds “SIMBIRSK 15 AUG. 1880”, with endorsements “per. 28 k.” and ”petition given to the elder Piotr Bognyavlenski". The envelope with some minor toning and back partly excised, still fine and very rare, only a few covers known from the Buinsk Zemstvo

1863/80 (ca.), Group of 8 covers and postal stationeries, with some better frankings like Mi.-Nr. 19F, 20xb and 22x with oval dotted “S.P.B” to entire letter from “S. PETERBURG 29 MARCH 1870” to Paris (early use of the "V instead of 3 background error), signed Maslowski, Mi.-Nr. 18x 1 k. as single franking on printed matter, etc., together with four unused Zemstvo postal stationeries from Bogorodsk (2) and Fatezh (2), mixed condition
