1849/69, magnificent specialized used collection with 823 covers and cards, specialized with an abundance of shades, varieties and proofs, an abundance of duplicates with Mi.-Nr. 1 (x6, incl. 3 covers), 2 (x6, incl. one cover), 5 (x5, incl. 3 covers), 7 (x5, incl. one cover), 16 (x53, incl. 11 covers), 32 (x7. incl. one cover and one front, some faults), 44 (x9, incl. one cover), etc., many interesting usages with some many better destinations with Mi.-Nr. 12Ib (scarcer lemon shade) and 15a with PC “486” on entire letter to the Great Duchy of Bade (certificate Goebel BPP), also private perforations as Susse, 25 c. blue proof used on cover to Isle sur Sorgue with arrival (certifcate Roumet), 1854 transatlantic mail with 10c. and 25 c. with red cds “BUREAU MARITIME LE HAVRE” to entire letter to New York (certificate Roumet), etc., some Ballons Montés, a delightful selection of the Bordeaux issue with multiples, etc. Mixed condition as to be expected, overall in fresh condition, expertly mounted and described on exhibition pages and neatly housed in 11 albums. 1793/1813 (ca.), 90 covers from the Département Conquis and Armée d´Italie, unfolding with a fine group of military and shipowner Rougement archive mail, some better items with December 1811 entire letter sent from the corsair captain on the “Themis" concerning the capture of an English ship and the seizure of its codfish cargo, followed by a strong section of Départements Conquis with some Port Payé, including 1806 folded letter to Genova with two-line “ETRURIE ET LUCQUES PAR GENES”, 1810 folded letter from Cremone to Parma with superb red three-line “Raume D´ITALIE PAR PLAISANCE”, undated lettersheet without text to Pise with scarce red two-line “PRINtéDE LUQUES PAR PISE”, three-line “P.19.P.
