PETERBURG 1 AOUT 1881” to 7 k. on 10 k. brown postal stationery envelope to London, reverse departure repeated and arrival faint oval mark “REGISTERED …”, the franking paying the correct 14 kopek rate (tariff of 20 March 1879). The envelope roughly opened, slight peripheral toning and back flap missing, otherwise very fine. A very scarce usage, from the famous Breitfuss correspondence, certificate Citerne BPP (2025)
