1871/1897, a collection of mint and used on stock pages, beginning with Kingdom of Kabul issues, comprising a range of nine 18711/74 Tiger's Head issues, including on horizontal pair, fourteen 1876/8 Tiger's Heads, over twenty 1881/91 Script issues, these mostly used, and over 40 Kingdom of Afghanistan issues, mint and used, including a striking 1898 2ab black on light yellow block of twenty one, offered with a small number of covers and an unusual 1sch and 1/2a adhesive of India mixed franking on piece , typical faults for this period of Afghan philately, with owner's accompanying inventory noting a Michel catalogue value exceeding €1,600.

1880-1 Issue, collection of twenty four covers or fronts, mounted on pages and annotated as to denomination, wide range of shades, ranging from light rose and lake to orange/red and dark browns, mostly domestic usages though note usages from India, most cancelled with pen crosses, though note examples with ring-seal and ampersand-style markings of  Tashkurghan, usual faults and mixed quality, yet a challenging group to assemble.

1894/1905, a mostly mint collection in a stockbook, a study of the Menelik II and Lion of Judah designs, including mint and used singles and multiples, as well as proofs and varieties, noting four Menelik II perforated proofs of unissued values, large blocks, 1902 2g overprinted single on mixed franking piece with 50c Somali Coast issue, 1905 Harar Provisional bisects, blocks, strips, and one complete sheetlet of sixteen Fournier forgeries, Postage Dues, and an unusual 1g blue single from the 1894 “Province Block” affixed to cover and cancelled with segmented Maltese Cross, handstamped POSTMUSEUM in violet on reverse, some small imperfections in places, the cover with filing folds clear of stamp, an overall fine and desirable collection.
