1867, entire letter from New Orleans via New York and Hamburg to Stockholm, endorsed "Due 38 c." instead of correct 33 c., rated in Hamburg "7 2/6" Sgr. and charged upon arrival with "95" oere.
1857-1, 1 c. blue, Type V, tied to patriotic Soldier & Flag cover by Providence, Rhode Island c.d.s. (May, 1861), repaired tear along bottom, but a scarce drop rate Civil War patriotic cover.
1866, 15 c. black, affixed to 1867 folded letter from New Orleans to Vienna, endorsed “per first Hamburg on Bremen Steamer”, hand of forwarding agents J.H. Eimer & Co (27 Sep), red British Packet Paid and blue “America / Uber Bremen / Franco” handstamps on front, Wien c.d.s. arrival backstamp (20 Oct), extensive explanatory pencil docketing on reverse, vertical fold, stamp with corner crease, else a fine usage to Austria via the Bremen Mails. 1930 (Sept 2):, 'American Legion Convention / International Flight' card franked by Washington 2 c. red tied by Boston slogan cancel, mailed on the Russell Boardman / John Polando flight that was delayed, initially for nearly a year, with eventual acceptance datestamp on reverse of ISTANBUL in black (July 30, 1931). The card is signed by the Pilot, Russell Boardman, on reverse, the ´Cape Cod´ flew direct from New York to Istanbul / Turkey in a flying time of 50 hours and 8 minutes for the 5´011 mile journey. Extremely rare flight from both the American and Turkish point of view. (Muller #343 = 20´000 pts)

1882, CHINA to INDIA cover tied by finest strike "Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company" shipmail cancellation with content, from Shanghai to Bombay / India. An extremely rare ship letter especially in such premium condition, this strike shows every detail of the intricate design with perfect clarity. Most of the known strikes are blurry or incomplete. Even complete strikes are not as bold and strong as the example offered here, with every line of the design showing perfect detail. Showpiece for an advanced collection.
1924, Flugmarke Berlin - Angora mit Wertangabe 2 GM (=Goldmark) sauber auf rotem Briefumschlag der Junkers-Flugverkehr AG, aufgegeben als Luftpostbrief mit Beifrankatur 10 und 50 Pfg. Holztaube in "BERLIN C 4.7.24" nach Angora, die Flugmarke entwertet mit dem Sonderentwertungsstempel "Erster Flug Berlin-Angora BERLIN 5.7.24" und “First Trip Berlin Angora ANGORA 6.7.24”, rs. rein arab. Ankunftsstempel Angora. Marke rechts stupfe Zähnung, unten zwei kurze Zähne ansonsten einwandfreie Qualität, nur 250 derartige Belege wurden befördert, ausführliches Fotoattest Brettl BPP (2008)
