Higlett, George Allen – Satirical pamphlets and leaflets (1912 onwards) set of ca. 67 (!) booklets plus the Bibliography written by Gavin Fryer (1997, 89 pages). All in all in good condition and preserved in two bibliophile de-luxe boxes. Higlett illustrated his humurous and sometimes critical satirical texts with genuine (!) stamps and essays, which sometimes led to problems when he was not able to gather enough examples for his complete edition. So some essays were issued in very small number only (ca. 30, one about Revenues only 12). The value of all stamps and essays was estimated at several thousands GBP 13 years ago. a good number of brochures are signed by Higlett.
