RIGA (Latvia): 10 kopeck brown and blue, good to large margins, tied by clear c.d.s. "RIGA 7 MAY. 1858", to letter sheet to Twer, with arrival mark. Lettersheet at base with light staining, otherwise very fine and attractive. Certificate Buchsbayew (2017)

SARANSK: 10 kopeck brown & blue, good to large even margins, with central dotted rectangular "326" and adjacent dry strike of straight line "SARANSK", used on opened out envelope to Moscow. Very fine and fresh. The only recorded No.1-cover with this cancellation and one of just 2 recorded from the village of Saransk. Certificate Buchsbayew (2014)

SCHRUNDEN (Latvia): 10 kopeck brown & blue, good to large margins, tied by dotted rectangular "244", with adjacent pre-philatelic bilingual double circle with manuscript date "7/IX" to letter sheet to Sessilen. SLUTSK (BELARUS): 10 kopeck brown & blue, nice large margins, used with clear and almost complete strike of pre-philatelic straight line. Very fine and rare; the only recorded No.1 used in this small city. Signed Buchsbayew and Georg Bühler

TAUROGGEN (Lithuania): 10 kopeck brown & blue, large margins, tied by boxed  "TAUROGEN 28 MAR 1858" to lettersheet with reverse side oval handstamp "SPEDITIONS-GESCHÄFT JOHN G. KNIEP/TAUROGGEN", to Riga, with arrival mark. Supposed to origin from (most likely) German soil and forwarded. Just four similar entires with the Kniep handstamp have been recorded. TELSHI (Lithuania): 10 kopeck brown & blue, slightly touched at upper right, otherwise good to large margins, tied by dotted rectangular "183" to envelope with matching dispatch c.d.s. on reverse, to Wilno (Vilnius). Tiny parts of ink removed in the lower left margin of the stamp, otherwise fine. Very rare; just 2 other No.1-entires have been recorded from Telshi. Certificate Buchsbayew (2014)

UMAN (UKRAINE): 10 kopeck brown & blue, good to large margins, tied by boxed "UMAN 3 JUNE 1858" (with "3" and "58" added in manuscript) to letter written entirely in yiddish (outer flaps partly missing), to Zhitomir. The stamp with tiny surface scratch in the lower frame line, otherwise very fine and fresh. A very rare No.1-usage; just one further entire has been recorded from this small place. ZHITOMIR(Ukraine): 10 kopeck brown & blue, good to large  margins, tied by pen star and boxed pre-philatelic " ZHITOMIR 28 (JANUARY 1858)" to almost entire letter (parts of outer flaps missing) to Kiev. Slightly cleaned, otherwise very fine. Very rare and attractive.  Certificate Buchsbayew (2017)

1858, perforated issue 10 kopeck brown & blue and 20 kopeck blue & orange, both in nice fresh colour and well perforated, used with clear boxed dotted numeral "69" to entire letter, dated inside October 19, 1858, with reverse side dispatch mark of Veliky Ustyug (slightly improved with pencil), to Volodga, with arrival mark of October 24. The stamps were removed for inspection and replaced. A very fine and fresh entire of the utmost rarity, only one further such combination on entire has been recorded. Certificate Buchsbayew (2022)

1858, 30 kopeck carmine & green, thin paper, nice fresh colour and well centered, with intact perforations on all sides, tied by pen cross to triple rate envelope with reverse side dispatch mark "SERPEYSK" (a small village in Kaluga Province), to St. Petersburg, with arrival mark of May 15, 1858. The envelope with usual transportation marks. A great rarity; just 9 single frankings of this stamp have been recorded, this being the only one with manuscript cancellation. 20 Pfg. dunkelultramarin, 2 Einzelwerte, einzeln entwertet "LAMU 25/8 90" auf Brief der 2.Gewichtsstufe an die Witu-Gesellschaft in Berlin. Die linke Marke unauffällige Eckfehler, sonst schöne und frische Erhaltung.

20 Pfg. dunkelultramarin, 2 Einzelwerte mit einzeln sauber auf- und nebengesetztem "LAMU 7/1 91" auf größerformatigem Briefkuvert, in Suaheli beschriftet, an den Generalkonsul Dr. Gustav Michahelles nach Sansibar und mit rückseitigen Vermerken des dortigen Konsulates nachgesandt zu Händen des Auswärtigen Amtes in Berlin und von dort nach Hamburg, mit jeweiligem Ankunftsstempel. Die Marken in einwandfreier Erhaltung, der Umschlag mit einigen Beförderungsspuren. Nach unseren Unterlagen der einzig registrierte Lamu-Brief nach Sansibar und sowohl postgeschichtlich als auch geschichtlich ein hochinteressantes und einmaliges Stück. Fotoattest Jäschke-L. 50 Pfg. oliv im waagerechten Paar und 20 Pfg. dunkelultramarin im senkrechten Paar, mit einzeln sauber aufgesetztem "LAMU 26/10 89" auf dreiseitig geöffnetem Leinen-R-Brief an den Staatsminister von Hofmann in Berlin, mit Ausgabestempel. Einige kurze Zähne und die 50 Pfg.-Werte vorderseitig unauffällig geschürft; übliche leichte Transportspuren. Eine äußerst seltene Frankatur; ProFi hat nur 10 Ganzstücke mit der 50 Pfg. von Lamu registriert.
