1858, Coat of Arms 24 öre bright orange-yellow, two singles, fresh vibrant colour, one value rounded corner, tied separately by black cds “STOCKHOLM 25 7 1860” and “STOCKHOLM 26 7 1860” to lettersheet to Christiania, Norway, with additional strikes of both cds alongside. A very attractive and scarce example of mail being held for additional postage. 

Note: While Sweden and Norway were both under the same king, the postal services operated as if they were foreign to each other. 

1867, entire letter from Havana (23.6.) with frontside “N.YORK BREM.PK. 3/ JUL.4”, via Bremen, Hamburg and Sandosund, to Sarpsborg, Norway. Little toned.

1874, unfrankierter, kpl. Faltbrief von “ANVERS 19.JUIN.74” mit Ra1 “NON AFFRANCHI” via Preußen mit Ra1 “Porto” nach Christansund, Norwegen mit Rötel-Taxe “18” (Skilling) und Ankunftsstempel, in guter Erhaltung
