1922/27, George V 2 d. grey, an imperforate 'Ireland Trial' Proof vertical pair, sheet marginal at left and top, top stamp defaced in pencil, printed on the Ireland Multiple SE monogrammed watermarked paper as a Trial (circa 1922) to test the paper's suitability for typographical printing, fresh and very fine, mint never hinged. Also a piece (290x260mm.) of the gummed watermarked paper.
