Brun, an attractive lot with high catalogue value

Forerunners and General Issues, with some duplicates, multiples, gutter pairs and other specialities, some better items throughout with Cérès 80 c. imperforate pair used with dotted “INDE” (Mi.-Nr. 23, signed A. Brun), fine group of Obock with some bisected on pieces, a selection of GC 5080 (Alexandria) cancels on 5 Francs empire and 40 c. Bordeaux, fine section of Reunion, St Pierre & Miquelon, etc., some Fournier forgeries noted, a few values signed A. Brun. An interesting assembly, except for the occasional fault in overall good condition

(x2), 15 c. and 25 c. with blue octogonal “GOREE 23 12 84” to mourning envelope to Brest, New Caledonia with Dubois 25 c. strip of three with “Nlle CALEDONIE NOUMEA 19 AVRIL 89” to envelope to France, fine section of French offices in Asia with large violet circular “CORPS D´OCCUPATION DE CHINE” on franked postcard from “SHANGHAI 22 3 02” to Gibeon in German South West Africa, etc., somewhat mixed condition
