CORINPHILA (1925–2024) – A sensational and perhaps unique lot in 12 large boxes: Almost 332 auction catalogues, with many result lists and supplements, including the “Ferrary” sale of Greece and Serbia plus other name sales, e.g. Bojanowicz, Brodtbeck, Cihangir, Demuth, Diaz, Engellau, Fabergé, Galvez, Hoffmann, Hubbard, Jerger, Kofler, Pittier, Sacher, See, Sibelius, Torrey and many more. – The catalogues No. 1–85 are complete, housebound and preserved in very solid linen boxes with tasteful gold-brown spine label. Stocks of the early catalogues from 1925–October 1992 were discovered in a cellar. Jack Luder allegedly had only a few (?5?) sets produced, which were never sold, but were probably given to deserving personalities. This set was in the possession of Max Uehlinger who was working for Luder and Corinphila a long time (till 1999). Corinphila no longer owns this ‘Luder set’ itself, which is characterised not only by the completeness of the early issues, but also by its perfect condition. Only one page with clippings was registered during the inspection. Nothing was removed, so this is a unique opportunity to acquire all the catalogues. Estimate: 5.000 Euro
