GREAT BRITAIN – The Philatelic Record (1879–1914). One of the best philatelic magazines ever! Published in 36 volumes. It was originally published by Pemberton, Wilson and Co. of London and later by Buhl & Co. when it was merged with the “Stamp News” to form “The Philatelic Record and Stamp News”, under the editorship of Edward J. Nankivell. The volumes until 1908 are bound in the same decorative way: Blue hardcover with gold title imprint on front and spine. The last six years are in bigger format, also hardbound, but only with gold title imprint on spine. For the time in good condition. Rare complete run of a famous journal. Estimate: 700 Euro
