1852/2000, comprehensive used collection, mounted on custom pages to the 1920s, with accompanying detailed annotations as to shades, plates, etc, arranged on Lighthouse hingeless pages thereon, beginning with 1852 King William II imperforate and 1864 perforated issues, organized by plate and including an impressive array of shades of each denomination, including the 5 c. (x19 singles and four pairs), 10 c. (x17 singles and four pairs) and 15 c. (x5 singles and two pairs) the subsequent King William III also arranged by Utrecht and Haarlem Printings, the subsequent Arms issues arranged by perforation, with similar attention to detail paid to the Numeral, Princess and Queen Wilhelmina issues, which are also studied in detail, a few with certificates including 1852 10 c. horizontal pair, 1869 1½c. rose and 5 c. blue perf 14, and 1876 Numeral ½ c. perf 14, from the 1920s onwards missing only a small number of items for completion for the available spaces, including back of the book issues, and includes more unusual material not often found in a used collection,
including souvenir sheets and booklet panes, selected with an emphasis on quality, with minor flaws occasionally present among the nineteenth-century issues, which have been carefully chosen overall for their freshness and vibrant colours, a remarkable collection, rarely offered so complete.
