THE EARLIEST RECORDED USE OF A PERFORATED STAMP IN RUSSIA: 1858, 10 kopeck brown and blue, tied by pen cross to entire letter, dated inside "St Petersburg 7. Jan. 1858" and showing on front boxed red handstamp with the same date, to Wasa, Finland. Very fine and fresh. An absolutely outstanding and unique item. Certificate Mikulski (1991)
