1918/20 (ca.), group of over 130 mint never hinged/unused and used stamps, including Revenues and West Ukraine, some scarcer material with a fine choice of Tridents most neatly identified by Bulat numbers, noted Sarny and Klintsi, also some forerunners with Russia Mi.-Nr. 81Bxb 10 roubles imperforate used (3) with “ODESSA”, “KHARKOV” and “KIEV”, overall in good condition, many signed Bulat BPP, UPV or with Pateman guarantee notes, a most useful specialist lot

1919/20, interesting collection of the “”Chain Breaker” issue with approx. 250 covers, cards, postal stationeries and a few stamps and pieces with different postmarks. Including registered covers, parcel cards, postal money orders, censorship and foreign mail, in two albums.

1918/25 (ca.), interesting old holding with hundreds of stamps and pieces and a large number of parcel cards and other entires, including mixed frankings, bisects, etc.
1920/50, hundreds of covers, cards and postal stationeries, including registered covers and cards, airmail, parcel cards, postal orders and foreign mail, plus a small collection of “Partisan mail” from 1944/45
1871/1897, a collection of mint and used on stock pages, beginning with Kingdom of Kabul issues, comprising a range of nine 18711/74 Tiger's Head issues, including on horizontal pair, fourteen 1876/8 Tiger's Heads, over twenty 1881/91 Script issues, these mostly used, and over 40 Kingdom of Afghanistan issues, mint and used, including a striking 1898 2ab black on light yellow block of twenty one, offered with a small number of covers and an unusual 1sch and 1/2a adhesive of India mixed franking on piece , typical faults for this period of Afghan philately, with owner's accompanying inventory noting a Michel catalogue value exceeding €1,600.
1880-1 Issue, collection of twenty four covers or fronts, mounted on pages and annotated as to denomination, wide range of shades, ranging from light rose and lake to orange/red and dark browns, mostly domestic usages though note usages from India, most cancelled with pen crosses, though note examples with ring-seal and ampersand-style markings of Tashkurghan, usual faults and mixed quality, yet a challenging group to assemble.
1856/2005 (ca.), used and unused/mint never hinged collection, in two large albums, incl. Rivadavia sets perf and imperf (slightly faulty), Buenos Aires issues, Corrientes, later issues with S/S, Zeppelin issues and Air Mails, officials, some occasional faults, mostly fine
1866/1900, Collection unused on three album leaves starting Dom Pedro perf and rouletted issues including 500 r. orange, and 300 r pair, 1000 r. proof on white paper, Cross of South ten values up to 1.000 r., Liberte and Mercure up tp 2.000 r., newspaper 1879 and overprinted 1898, some stamps partially affixed, otherwise mostly fine and very fresh colours
