PETERBURG 11 DEC 1891” to reverse of a registered envelope to Nagasaki, Japan, addressed to the “care of the Russian Consul, Imperial Russian frigate staff surgeon”, endorsed on front “Via Brindisi”, reverse transit cds “HONG KONG FE 11 92” and arrival mark “NAGASAKI 6 FEB 1892 JAPAN”, very fine and most unusual, in addition two registered covers from Vladivostok to either Hakodate or Nagasaki. 1883, UPU-Koban 5 s. blue, 2 pairs, tied by c.d.s. "YOKOHAMA 20 MA 1890", to 2nd rate envelope via San Francisco to Switzerland, with transit- and arrival marks.
1943, stationery picture card propaganda 2 s., complete set with three: "British surrender at Singapore", "Japanese storming of the British position Wang chai / Hong Kong" and “Japanese attack of Pearl Harbour”, unused, together with selling envelope and leaflet with explanation, very fine
1869/76, Yokohama French Office, alluring group of 11 covers, showing an impressive display of tariffs from the 1866 to 1876 period, some better items with Laureated 80 c. and 40 c. tied by Dotted Diamond “5118” to envelope to France with alongside cds. “YOKOHAMA 15 MAI 71” (scarce 1,20 Francs tariff valid six months from January until end of June 1871), two 1876 envelopes the first one franked at the 1 Franc tariff (endorsed “Voie Française”, French paquebot to Marseille), the second at the 1,10 Francs tariff (endorsed “Via Brindisi”, British paquebot), some faults but a rare duo exhibiting both routes, also some underfranked mail, etc., some signed Calves, mixed condition.

Ausgaben, ab ca. 1876 zum Teil etwas spezialisiert (davor mit besseren Marken) mit Farben, Zähnungen, Papiersorten usw., dabei u.a. Mi.-Nr. 52a gestempelt (Fotoattest Eichhorn BPP), Mi.-Nr. 129 gestempelt, Mi.-Nr. 134-35 ungebraucht (FA Ceremuga), Mi.-Nr. 217 im Kleinbogen postfrisch, Block 1 mit rotem Sonderstempel, Mi.-Nr. 222-24 gestempelt, Nationalpark-Blocksausgaben Nr. 2-7 ungebraucth/postfrisch mit Folder, Mi.-Nr. 428A im Kleinbogen, Mi.-Nr. 475 im Kleinbogen, Block A28 mit rotem Sonderstempel und Block 32 postfrisch. Ab ca. 1958 postfrisch kpl. und oft zusätzlich gestempelt, dazu Postsparmarke als Formular ungebraucht (ohne Gummi) und Japanische Post in China mit besseren Marken sowie etwas Ryukju-Inseln. Bis auf die üblichen Einschränkungen bei den Anfangsausgaben fast durchgehend in guter Erhaltung, sauber in 12 Vordruckalben. Ein sehr schönes und empfehlenswertes Objekt
