1890, "POSTAHANE-I BAGDAD 99" all arabic cancellation on envelope bearing 1 piaster on 2 piaster Bagdad provisional issue with arrival mark "POSTAHANE-I HANEKIN 95" on front, tiny shortened at left and crease, otherwise fine, attractive cover showing very clear cancellations, scarce
1890, "TELGRAF VE POSTAHANE-I ALI EL GHARBI 300" (1886), (Bayindir no.1 RRR, isfila unrecorded) red arrival mark on reverse of cover bearing Baghdad local bisect stamp 1 pia. on 2 pia. on front, tied by "POSTAHANE-I BAGDAD" all arabic cancellation. Cover with some edge tears, still fine strikes of these unusual cancels and an important rarity of Turkey and Iraq postal history
1948/60, King Faisal II 20 official stamps red surcharged "SPECIMEN" (Mi.D169 Spec.) additional 22 postage and official stamps red (20) and black (2) surcharged "SPECIMEN" (Mi.188-193, 176, D170-185 Spec.), all mounted with other stamps from 1960 on two printers archive card pages, very scarce and attractive

1892, Baghdad provisional issue 1 pia. on 2 pia. yellow bisect diagonally tied by clear "POSTAHANE-I BAGDAD" to cover, addressed to ERBIL with boxed arrival mark (Brand-Ceylan no.IX-52) alongside, few tiny spots, otherwise fine, a very attractive and scarce Iraq and Turkey local forerunner
1892, Baghdad provisional issue 1 pia. on 2 pia. yellow-olive on yellow diagonally bisected tied by all arabic negative mark “POSTAHANE-I BAGDAD” to cover, arrival mark “POSTAHANE-I HANEKIN 95” (Coles-Walker no.19) on front, vertical fold, shortened at right and cut on flap, otherwise fine, a very scarce Local issue
"BAGDAD" bilingual oval type cancellation on envelope bearing 1 Piaster blue 1901 issue, addressed to Sham / Damascus, tiny flaw on top, otherwise fine, attractive cover showing a beautiful cancellation
“BASRA” (Coles & Walker no.43, RRR*) cancellation on 1876 cover with 20 Para green / violet to Kermanchah / Irak with arrival mark on reverse, shortened on top and corner flaw, this cancellation is unknown on cover at Isfila, great rarity of Turkey & Iraq postal history
"BATTAL" ("cancelled", Brand-Ceylan no.XVIII-12) clear double circle on cover bearing Turkey empire issue 20 pa. rose, used in Iraq and addressed to KUT (Kut el Amara), tiny shortened at left, very scarce and attractive

"MUSUL 81" black box type (Coles-Walker no.66) cancellation on 1891 official cover with rectangular "tahrirati mühimme" (important mail) and official seal "MOSUL EMLAK HÜMAYUN IDARESI" (Mosul Land Registry), to Constantinople with arrival mark, little roughly opened at top and some crease, otherwise fine, very scarce and unusual Turkey / Ottoman forerunner
“By Overland Mail / BAGHDAD-HAIFA” boxed hs. in violet on top right of 1927 commercial envelope from Baghdad to Swiss with, franked on reverse with pair 3 a. deep blue, Port Said transit and arrival mark Emmishofen 1.2.27, vertical folds and crease, otherwise fine
